I do not care one bit about the oscars. I haven't in quite some time. I will not be watching. I have not watched in years. All the classy people that once inhabited Hollywood are long gone. These people feel they should be awarded for pretending. Its not hard work. They go away to some movie set for 3 months or so are fed clothed made up fed their lines have luxurious trailers and as per usual do not do a thing for themselves. Yet they are overpaid and given everything they could ever want.There is not an actor alive today that I admire for their profession. I admire some for what they have done since hitting the pot of gold, but for what they do for a living, never. They pretend. It is what kids do everyday. That is really what they are spoiled kids. They love to hand out rewards to each other and pontificate on their "craft" well their "craft" is repeating lines that are written by others. There is no talent there. The talent comes from the writers the grips etc. Not from the actors. They do not even have to memorize their lines. They are fed to them before they do a scene.Soap actors , for the most part, are far more talented than these movie actors. They love to have their circle jerks where the can congratulate themselves. For what? For pretending? Its actually funny and quite pathetic.They crave pats on the back because they realize their jobs are fake and meaningless. They give lame speeches and try to sound smart when everyone knows the majority of them are as dumb as a box of rocks. Thats why they mess up when they are interviewed, they can only do good at reading what someone has written for them. There are a few smart ones but by and large they are stupid. What else could they possibly do for a living but pretend? They are so desperate for someones approval. Every interview I have heard or read by george clooney is just a cry for love me daddy. He acts like his dad was some great reporter. He was not He was a local news guy who did nothing of merit. His claim to fame is that he is Rosemary Clooneys brother big whoop. To illustrate what a joke the oscars are just think about this Julia Roberts has an oscar.... enough said!

CNN will not show the mohammed cartoons "in respect for Islam" Direct quote taken from their website. Yet I turn on my TV this morning and there they are showing the "torture" photos just released. These are old photos from the same batch that were released a couple years ago. So cnn has nooooo problem showing photos from an old story that could very well endanger OUR soldiers but wont show a freaking cartoon depicting mohammed with a a bomb in his turban. Fuck you cnn. You care more about terrorist then our troops. The so called relgion of peace can't take their guy being made fun of in cartoons so they riot kill and burn. Sounds real peaceful to me. Yet Christians are shown photos of a crucifix in urine the Virgin Mary made out of cow dung and various other assaults on their beliefs and religion and they dont riot or burn. Of course our lovely media LOVES showing those photos etc. Anything to make fun of Christians. The SF Chronicle is a big offender in that as well they wont show the mohammed cartoons either, but I betcha they have no problem running the new abu grahb photos. And get this straight this isn't NEW abuse these are just new photos. You should be really proud of yourselves after the WV miner story. I think what he did was very cool. I know a lot of people were disturbed to see him on New Years Eve but I think he showed a lot of courage. I don't get why some people are so aghast at seeing him. The dude had a stroke and made his way back from not being able to speak and I say kudos to him. I know that people are used to seeing the picture perfect fake as hell celebs but I enjoyed seeing him. He didn't hide away like some of these so called stars would have done. We have to accept the fact that not everyone is perfect and strokes do have consequences. I would rather see Dick Clark the way he was this New Years eve than see that tool Carson Daley or that dork Ryan Seacrest.If it bothered you to see someone less than perfect then perhaps you need to take a good long look at yourself.

EFFORTS by Hollywood actor Sean Penn to aid New Orleans victims stranded by Hurricane Katrina foundered badly overnight, when the boat he was piloting to launch a rescue attempt sprang a leak.

Penn had planned to rescue children waylaid by Katrina's flood waters, but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch.
The actor, known for his political activism, was seen wearing what appeared to be a white flak jacket and frantically bailing water out of the sinking vessel with a red plastic cup.

When the boat's motor failed to start, those aboard were forced to use paddles to propel themselves down the flooded New Orleans street.

Asked what he had hoped to achieve in the waterlogged city, the actor replied: "Whatever I can do to help."

New Orleans is notorious for its corrpurt politicians and I would not be surprised if we learned Mayor Nagin is one of them. There was no way to get help INTO New Orleans right away because all the roads were underwater where was the mayor? Help came as soon as it was somewhat stabilized. Where was the Governor of La??? She was too busy crying and bitching she should have called in the national guards. That is in HER power to do so but she was a little slow on the uptake and doesnt want to take the blame or responsibilty. You have to understand this did not happen in one concentrated area like NY this was spread out over MILES and affected millions. It is not the Presidents job to have a disaster plan in place for every town in the USA that is the job of the LOCAL and state government and NO & LA failed miserably. President Bush was the one who appealed to the mayor & governor to issue and an order of MANDATORY evacuation BEFORE katrina hit because of flooding and the storm. It has been awhile but I have been on vacation. Did a lot of traveling in my SUV. Talked to lots of people on my travels and one subject that always came up was Cindy Sheehan. I was expecting the whore of all media whores Jesse Jerkson to show up but he was down in South America sucking Hugo Chavezs ass. Funny how he wants everyone to forgive him for calling New York hymietown but he has said he cant forgive Pat Robertson for saying we should assassinate Hugo Chavez. Pat is a jerk no doubt but it wasnt a bad idea it just shouldnt be announced it should just be carried out.

Ok so the press is all over covering Cindy Sheehan out trying to get a meeting with President Bush. What they won't tell you is she has ALREADY met with him and before she was being used as a propaganda tool by the dumbascraps she had nice things to say about him.

Since learning in April that their son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, had been killed in Iraq, life has been everything but normal for the Sheehan family of Vacaville. Casey's parents, Cindy and Patrick, as well as their three children, have attended event after event honoring the soldier both locally and abroad, received countless letters of support and fielded questions from reporters across the country.

But none of that prepared the family for the message left on their answering machine last week, inviting them to have a face-to-face meeting with President George W. Bush at Fort Lewis near Seattle.

"We haven't been happy with the way the war has been handled," Cindy said. "The president has changed his reasons for being over there every time a reason is proven false or an objective reached."
The 10 minutes of face time with the president could have given the family a chance to vent their frustrations or ask Bush some of the difficult questions they have been asking themselves, such as whether Casey's sacrifice would make the world a safer place.
But in the end, the family decided against such talk, deferring to how they believed Casey would have wanted them to act. In addition, Pat noted that Bush wasn't stumping for votes or trying to gain a political edge for the upcoming election.
"We have a lot of respect for the office of the president, and I have a new respect for him because he was sincere and he didn't have to take the time to meet with us," Pat said.
Sincerity was something Cindy had hoped to find in the meeting. Shortly after Casey died, Bush sent the family a form letter expressing his condolences, and Cindy said she felt it was an impersonal gesture.
"I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis," Cindy said after their meeting. "I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith."
The meeting didn't last long, but in their time with Bush, Cindy spoke about Casey and asked the president to make her son's sacrifice count for something. They also spoke of their faith.

"It's hard to lose a son," she said. "But we (all) lost a son in the Iraqi war."
The trip had one benefit that none of the Sheehans expected.
For a moment, life returned to the way it was before Casey died. They laughed, joked and bickered playfully as they briefly toured Seattle.
For the first time in 11 weeks, they felt whole again.
"That was the gift the President gave us, the gift of happiness, of being together," Cindy said.

A question that has been asked a lot lately is why is the box office so down for movies? Here are some reasons why.

First off quit putting out crap. Lets have an orginal idea now and then. Not a remake of a prevous movie or a TV show. Not another lameass sequel but an orginal movie. No one wants to pay 10 bucks to see some piece of crap that the actor was overpaid to make and looks like they are just playing the same character over and over. They overhype the crappiest movies and underhype the ones that are actually good. Make some movies that a whole family could go to. And also make some that are for mature people. No one wants to go to a movie and take their kids if they are going to have to cringe everytime someone drops the F bomb or chops off someones head. Now I am no prude and I like movies like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs etc but these movies should only be seen by people mature enough to know the difference between a movie and reality. Make movies that mean something movies like Schindlers List, The Passion Of The Christ, Forrest Gump etc. These are movies that told a story with people in them that could actually act. The Aviator sucked because it was all over the place and sorry to say but Leo aint that great of an actor. Do not pay someone over 10 million for any movie. They usually suck as actors and the movies usually sucks as well. There are certain actors that play the same in every movie proving they cannot act .... for example: Harrison Ford, Kevin Costner, Ben Affleck,Micahel Douglas, Sharon Stone, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack Nicholson,Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, Tom Cruise, Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler,Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow,Mathew Perry and Leonardo Dicrapio. It works for some of these people but it does get boring after awhile. Some of them have had moments where they didnt play themselves or the same character over and over, but for the most part with those listed it is rare. I am sure I am forgetting some and some of these people have phoned in some roles but for the most part they are solid.
Another reason why people don't go to the movies much anymore is because they have no one who works at the theatre to go in and tell some to shut the fuck up if they are on their cell phone or talking. No one wants to get up and leave a movie to go get someone to tell someone to shut the fuck up. And some people are afraid to do it themselves. There are too many rude people in this world. If you are so important that you cannot turn your cell phone off then you shouldn't be at the movies in the first fucking place. Stay the fuck home. People teach your kids manners. It isn't just kids though, sadly enough.

Ron Silver is a man who does not toe any partyline and I admire him for that. He took a big risk by coming out for George W. While I voted for George W and support and like him I do not agree with everything he stands for. I think Ron Silver is incredibly brave to have stood up and said he supports George W. That took courage from a democrat actor and that is to be admired.

Jerry Brown has evolved into a very likeable human being. Now he is the guy who appointed that whack job Rose Bird to the Calif supreme court but if you listen to him recently he is thoughtful intelligent and does not toe the democratic line.He is not afraid to cross party lines and give props to someone in the Republican party and he also will call a democrat on something they do that he doesn't agree with.

Dianne Feinstein I also admire. She does not toe her party line for the most part. I have voted for her a couple of times. She is a decent human being who seems to listen to both sides of an issue. That is something that cannot be said for that piece of crap Barbara Boxer. Dianne does not seem to be driven by the radical leftists and I admire her for that.

Someone, quite fairly, asked if there was anyone I did like. Well of course. And I will list them. First let me state again the whole reason for my blog. It is to call out hypocrisy. And where is the most hypocrisy coming from? Well hollywood of course the world of " Do as I say not as I do" The land of priviledged people who pretend for a living. People ask if I am jealous of them. Uh that would be a negative. I would never want that lifestyle the money maybe but I do have some of that myself. Do I hate these people? No there are very few people of earth that I hate and no one in Hollywood is worth that emotion. I actually just laugh when I think of these people. How phony and how shallow they are. They know what they do is worthless and that is why the have an award show every other week to award their shallow little heads and empty hearts. Yes I know I am generalizing and there are actually some decent people in Hollywood but by and large they are just phony hypocrites. Anyway here are some people I like and admire in no order.
Angelina Jolie I admire her because she doesn't bash for cash she puts her heart where her mouth is. She helps people without bashing others and without begging for money and not giving herself. She is a pretty selfless person and that is rare in Hollywood. She does good things even when there isnt a camera rolling. She does not do it for publicity only. Unlike Brad Pitt George Clooney Julia Roberts etc. Ooops this wasn't supposed to be about people I dont like. My bad.

Patricia Heaton I admire because she dares to say she is a conservative and that she is pro life. I am personally pro choice but I certainly admire her guts to say what she says out loud in that town. Kudos to you Patricia.You are a brave woman.

Charlton Heston pretty much for the same reason above. He was proudly conservative in a town that is 90% liberal and he wasn't afraid of the consequences.

Shirley MacLaine Here is a woman who also doesnt give a crap about what mainstream Hollywood thinks. She put her odd ( to some) ideas and thoughts out there and took a lot of heat for it but I admire her for that. She lives her life how she wants and doesnt conform to Hollywood's phony bullshit. Some of you have questioned why I bash Rosie. Well there are many many reasons but I do have to say I 100% agree with her on gay couples being allowed to have foster children. I mean they would go through background checks like any straight couple so what is the freaking harm????? These kids need a home with love and if a gay couple can provide that then more power to them. These are kids that are having a hard time in life and just need a place to call home and people to call family what does it matter if it is a man & a woman or a man & a man or a woman & a woman??? If they are going to love and care for them big fucking deal. They are not going to "recruit" them to the gay lifestyle if thats what people are afraid. Man time flies. This year is going by fast.
I read on drudge that Arianna Huffington is going to have a website that will feature blogs of famous people. Some in ploitics and some in entertainment. It is supposed to be a political site. One of the bloggers is going to be Gwyneth Paltrow. Are they fucking serious??? Gwyneth Paltrow???? The priviledged daughter of a third rate director and a second rate actress??? What can she possibly add to any intelligent conversation? She pretends for a living for Christ's sake. What does she know about the real world? IS she going to give advice on stupid baby names? Well here goes here is my first attempt at bloggery. I am not insane like rosie odonnell. Man what happened to her? She has lost it. She needs to be institutionalized. It is sad really because at one time she was really funny. She did an HBO special that was killer funny but now she is a total buzzkill. Get some help lady you need LOTS of it.
Lets not even get started on michael "kid toucher" jackson that dude has lost it and aint ever getting it back. He is a mess. He is giving comedians their salary there is SOOOOO much to work with there. Why didnt bubbles do to mikey what those chimps in Bakersfield do to that dude? I guess we cant get that lucky.
Why is it that these people with tons of money after to turn into isane babling idiots? See the above examples of rosie and mikey and there are tons more.
What is the deal with that douche sean penn? Does he have a stick up his ass or what? Dude does not have a sense of humor and he is a thin skinned weasel. Can he even make a movie that is watchable anymore? I feel sorry for his kids nah not really they will get daddys money when he corks from lung cancer or cirrhosis.
